The sculpture represents life – the way it begins, the way it goes, the way it ends. It also highlights a magical bond between a mom and her child that lasts a lifetime. The construction of a nest represents the life itself – rough, sturdy, dark. The shining (luminous) part of the construction represents the womb that carries and protects the baby from the outside world. Light represents the bond between a mom and her baby. Having that in mind, one part of the sculpture is oval (symbolizing the womb) and the bottom part is spindly (symbolizing the life after the baby is born). This sculpture carries a message about the strongest bond that could ever affect us – the bond between a mom and her child.
